Presley's Valentine Box 2010

I know this is a late post but I could not resist. This is the Valentine candy treat bags and her card box that she just had to have. It was craft lifted from Oriental Trade I believe.

I thought it turned out very cute and she was so excited when she took it to school.
Thanks

My first card with MTC and my Cricut Expression

My son Cole needed a card for a very good friend. His friend loves paintball and I did not have any gun pictures. Cole found me one and I brought the picture into MTC and cleaned it up. I also used the Indie Art cartridge. Hope you like it I had fun making it! My son was very happy with the card and he said it was showed-off at school-I guess that means its a hit. :):)

WHAT I USED:
The gray's (lt and dk) cs was from the 59 cent bins @ Hobby Lobby (the dk G was textured).
The Bright lime green cs was from Best Occasions textured pack from Wal-Mart (I think it was under 10.00 for 50 12x12 sheets).
I used just regular black cs (no texture) from Wal-Mart, for the shadow effect.
Then I sponged the edges with StazOn-Jet Black Ink.
Last I used pop-ups to adhere the skull on the splat.

March 12, 2010

Well, I am finally getting this blog together. Can you tell my daughter is a Jonas Fan!! I am too, I think these kids have it together. Nick has Juvenile Diabetes and my son Cole also. I am glad Nick and his family came out about his JD. He is a very strong and positive Role Model for kids to look up to and see what all he can do and not let his JD get him down. I want my Cole to understand you can do anything you want, you just have to plan ahead in order to do it! (cole is not a planner) Cole is also getting into his role as an advocate for JD and has done a few engagements on behalf of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). I am so proud of him for speaking up and making a difference.

I gotta run for now will get some craft projects, cards, and l/o up by Saturday night.

We have a hockey game to go watch tonight! Our first one and I am excited.

Thank you
